Flexotrap and Continest join forces for modular shooting ranges

Flexotrap AB and Continest Technologies Plc. have entered into a strategic cooperation combining Flexotrap’s proprietary bullet trap technology with Continest’s manufacturing and deployable infrastructure expertise. Their first joint delivery will equip a modular indoor shooting range for a Continest defence customer in a Nordic NATO country.

Flexotrap will supply four fully assembled CS Tactical ballistic modules to Continest’s manufacturing facility in Hungary, together with technical documentation and integration support. Continest is responsible for the container solution and final system integration.

“This is an important delivery for us as it demonstrates how our technology can be integrated as part of a complete modular indoor shooting range. Armed forces need to be able to establish and adapt training capacity faster than before, and container-based solutions provide a practical way of creating that flexibility. Continest has strong expertise in deployable infrastructure solutions, and we see good potential for further joint projects going forward,” says Elias Mibesjö, CEO of Flexotrap.

The cooperation also provides a framework for Continest to manufacture Flexotrap products on Flexotrap’s behalf under assignments authorised in writing by Flexotrap, following its technical specifications and quality requirements. Flexotrap retains ownership of its technology and know-how. Together, the companies aim to combine efficient production with reliable, high-quality training solutions.

Delivery will take place during autumn 2026 and the project marks the first joint delivery and provides a foundation for further collaboration.
