MilDef's German subsidiary roda computer GmbH has signed a seven-year extension of a framework agreement with the German armed forces' procurement authority BAAINBw (Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support), with a maximum contract value of 527 million euros (approximately 5.8 billion Swedish kronor) for the period 2026 to 2032.
"This agreement, in its size and duration, is clear evidence of MilDef's role in building German defence capability. MilDef states that a first call-off order worth 95.4 million euros (approximately 1.1 billion Swedish kronor) has been placed simultaneously. Deliveries under this order are expected to commence in the second half of 2026 and continue through 2027.
The framework agreement covers the supply of computers, displays and network infrastructure for command and control to the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr. MilDef emphasises that the framework agreement does not obligate the customer to place any orders, but notes that a significant proportion of the maximum contract value has historically been converted into actual orders under previous framework agreements, albeit with substantially lower ceiling amounts. The company states that historical outcomes should not be regarded as indicative of, or as a guarantee for, future order volumes.
