Finland and Sweden acquire first Patria TRACKX vehicles

Finland and Sweden are acquiring the first Patria TRACKX tracked armoured personnel carriers, with Sweden ordering five vehicles for trials and evaluation. Deliveries begin in 2027, followed by national and partly joint testing.

Computing closer to the source – turning space data into operational capability

The different parts of the space ecosystem are closely connected. Satellites and sensors collect the data. Communication systems bring it back to Earth. But on the ground, infrastructure is needed to store, process and make that data usable. This creates a clear role for high-performance edge computing and storage on the ground, infrastructure capable of receiving and processing large amounts of data close to the point of collection.

"Our innovation is to scale": SWEBAL brings TNT production home

NDS meets SWEBAL's founder Joakim Sjöblom at the defence trade fair DALO Industry Days in Denmark. The company is planning a Swedish TNT factory with an annual production of 4,000 tonnes, which according to Sjöblom would increase Europe's supply by 75 per cent. Groundworks can now begin, and the first deliveries are planned for the second half of 2028.
